The Art of Shade Growing
At Kaapikaadu, our coffee is cultivated beneath the protective canopy of native forest trees, creating a balanced ecosystem that protects soil health, supports birds and pollinators, and allows coffee cherries to mature slowly. This extended maturation process results in a deeper, more complex flavor profile while preserving the vital biodiversity of the region.

Western Ghats
Kaapikaadu Estate is located in the Western Ghats, one of the world's most important biodiversity hotspots. Rich soils, abundant rainfall and a mild mountain climate create ideal conditions for producing exceptional Arabica and Robusta coffees.
Specialty Arabica
Our Arabica is cultivated between 900 and 1,000 metres above sea level, where cool mountain conditions encourage slow cherry development and balanced flavour. Each harvest is selectively hand-picked and carefully processed to highlight clarity, sweetness and the distinctive characteristics of the varietal. You can later customise this section with your actual varieties (for example SLN6 and SLN9) and tasting notes.

Fine Robusta
Our Fine Robusta challenges conventional expectations. Grown under shade and processed with meticulous care, it delivers exceptional sweetness, structure and complexity while showcasing the unique character of our estate. Alongside traditional processing, we continue to explore innovative fermentation techniques that express new dimensions of flavor.
